(1) Abrasive
silicon carbide powder can be used as grinding media or grinding auxiliary material for grinding and processing glass, quartz crystal, prism crystal, ceramics, stone, cast iron and some non-ferrous metals, cemented carbide, titanium alloys, high-speed steel cutting tool grinding wheels and so on.
(2) Metallurgical and high temperature refractories
Steel mill applications of silicon carbide deoxidizer and foam ceramic filters,silicon carbide foam ceramic filters, with excellent strength and resistance to high temperature impact and chemical corrosion resistant.Use temperature over 1380 centigrade, widely used in molten metal filtration, high temperature flue gas treatment, catalyst carriers, solid heat exchangers and special fillers and other fields.
