GE Corporation i F\u00f6renta staterna har vidtagit f\u00f6ljande \u00e5tg\u00e4rder \u03b2 - Tills\u00e4ttning av bor och kol i SiC, sintring vid \u00f6ver 2000 \u2103 i inert atmosf\u00e4r och erh\u00e5llande av sintrad kiselkarbid med densitet h\u00f6gre \u00e4n 98% vid 2020 \u2103.
