Performance and use

2. The strength and hardness of nitride bonded silicon carbide kiln shelves are high at room temperature. At 1200-1400 C, the strength and hardness of nitride bonded silicon carbide are almost the same as those at room temperature for the same time. With the use of different atmospheres, the maximum safe use temperature can reach 1650-1750 C.

3. The thermal expansion coefficient of silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide is small. Compared with silicon carbide and other products, the thermal conductivity is higher. It is not easy to produce thermal stress. nitride bonded sic has good thermal shock stability and long service life. High temperature creep resistance, corrosion resistance, extreme cold and heat resistance, oxidation resistance, easy to make products with high dimensional accuracy and meet the requirements.
