SiC keramika igra sve va\u017eniju ulogu u podru\u010dju materijala. Stoga je hitno provesti daljnja istra\u017eivanja SiC materijala kako bi se smanjili tro\u0161kovi proizvodnje, pojednostavili proizvodni procesi i potaknuo razvoj SiC kerami\u010dkih proizvoda uz kontinuirano pobolj\u0161anje njihovih izvrsnih svojstava.<\/p>\n<p>Sinterirani silicijev karbid smatra se najperspektivnijom metodom sinteriranja SiC-a. Keramika od silicijevog karbida velikih dimenzija i slo\u017eenog oblika mo\u017ee se pripremiti procesom atmosferskog sinteriranja. Ameri\u010dka korporacija GE primijenila je sljede\u0107e mjere: \u03b2 \u2013 dodavanje bora i ugljika u SiC, sinteriranje na temperaturi iznad 2000 \u2103 u inertnoj atmosferi i dobivanje sinteriranog silicijevog karbida gusto\u0107e ve\u0107e od 98% na 2020 \u2103. Kori\u0161tenjem Y2O3 i Al2O3 kao pomo\u0107nih sredstava za sinteriranje te YAG-a (Y3Al5O12) s niskim temperaturom topljenja kao osnovne komponente, Shanghai institut za silikate Kineske akademije znanosti ispe\u010de keramiku od silicijevog karbida \u010dija su \u010dvrsto\u0107a savijanja i \u010dvrsto\u0107a loma iznosile 707 odnosno 10,7 pri temperaturi od 1850 \u2103. Liu Baoying iz Instituta za silikate Shandong dodao je odgovaraju\u0107u koli\u010dinu Al2O3 i Y2O3 kao dodatke za sinteriranje i izradio fino SiC kompozitno kerami\u010dko materijal s relativnom gusto\u0107om od 97% na 1780 \u00b0C upotrebom procesa lijevanja po teku\u0107oj smoli, \u0161to mo\u017ee zadovoljiti potrebe industrijske proizvodnje mehani\u010dkih brtvi i otporne keramike na habanje.
